It’s been a while since we’ve posted here, but brewing has been happening and equipment has been being built and bought!
Right now, we currently have Austin Homebrew Supply’s White Christmas White Stout about to be ready to drink. It’s been in the bottle for a couple of weeks now and it’s carbing up nicely.
We also have Defalco’s 3rd Coast Barley Wine chugging away. This weekend it will be swapped to secondary with some dry hopping.
On January 1st, we did our first all grain batch, an oatmeal stout. So, this as well is chugging away nicely and will be bottled in a couple of weeks (just in time to free up a fermentor for the next brew!)
Christmas was kind to us! Wort chiller, 15 gallon Blichmann BoilerMaker, were some of the items that we got that are working great! The mash tun that I converted from a 10 gallon Igloo Cooler with a copper manifold is also working out well!
More updates to come, with pictures of the equipment under our virtual brewery tour section! Stay tuned!
